Pain is not a planned thing. And the book The Magic Box was not part of Seneca Publishing House's strategy either. But because the responsibility for our own life and the environment is at the heart of our philosophy, we chose to edit the book by doctor Giuseppe Petralia. Through his mission, he is in a constant race with cancer. He believes that for any person "it is better to prevent than to treat." The Diffusion Whole Body (DWB) resonance materialized from the idea of a Japanese doctor who thought that a complete image of the human body would help identify tumors. The technique has grown and received international standards in 2017. It has already changed patients' lives, and their testimonies are included in this book. The technique is revolutionary and ensures the most important thing - the early detection of tumors at the smallest size, even at a level undetectable by MRI. Compared to MRI, this technique is not radioactive. More and more doctors have started using this technique, but in Romania it is still a little known thing. About the author: Giuseppe Petralia, a doctor of medicine, specialized in diagnostic radiology after a research fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. Since 2005, he has been working at the European Institute of Oncology in Milan, where he introduced DWB as a medical investigation tool. The Magic Box is prefaced by the urologist Deliu-Victor Matei, a promoter of robotic surgery in Romania. He works in Milan, but spends his weekends in Romania, where he has constant interventions to help Romanian patients. Member of the European Oncological Institute.
