We invite you to Seneca Anticafe on December 20, between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM for a public reading of Don't Close the Window by Felicia Simion and an illustration workshop supported by the beloved illustrator Anca Smărăndache. We will discover together Felicia Simion's recent poetry volume, Don't Close the Window, about the underbelly of this book, with all its ramifications: more serious and more playful. This book is a double project: the poems are accompanied by the lines and drawings of the author's daughter. On this occasion, we invite you to an event for both parents and children: with poetry and drawing. Following the event around the book, children will be able to participate in an illustration workshop supported by Anca Smărăndache: Play with poetry and drawing for children and their parents. They will be guided to let their imagination run wild, to create and to have fun, together with their parents. If in Postpartum Felicia Simion shows us the face of postnatal depression, carefully revised, in Nu înți geamul she adopts an expressive and playful tone, leaving a testament of personal revelation.
