• What are the challenges and vulnerabilities of adolescence? • Why does everyone worry primarily about teens when it comes to addictions? What makes them more vulnerable? • Who or what makes discipline with love and boundaries work for adolescents? Is it good to set and follow rules? • How do childhood trauma and relational (attachment) trauma translate into adolescent life from a mental and physical health perspective? • How to raise involved, responsible and happy teenagers? Here are questions to which, for sure, we will offer a wide range of answers with the support of the specialists invited to the event, on Thursday, December 12, 2019, at 6.30 pm at the Seneca AntiCafe Bookstore in Bucharest. The life lessons that await teenagers are lessons from which we can all learn, regardless of age. There are no perfect parents, no perfect educators, no perfect or trouble-free teenagers, and no stress-free relationships. Herald Publishing House offers you some titles, books that you can choose as a companion, that will offer you real support in the journey we make with the good people we want to raise and who we want to become. We will discuss the titles "The Whirlwind of the Mind", by Daniel Siegel, "We Grow Together", by Naomi Aldort, "A Life Without Drugs", by Aletha Solter and "It's a Boy", by Michael Thompson, titles published in the Parentaj collection of the publishing house Herald. We will have with us, as guests, Dr. Cristian Andrei (doctor, psychotherapist), Sorina Petrică (psychologist, psychotherapist), Sabina Strugariu (psychologist, integrative psychotherapist), Gabriela Deniz (senior editor Herald, psychotherapist). The event will be moderated by Sorin Lucaci (PR Herald Publishing House). Specialists are invited to share with the public some practical guidelines from current psychological and educational theories that can help us have a better understanding, full of empathy and compassion for adolescents and their problems, better communication and harmonious dynamics in the adolescent relationship. - Father.
